Josh Santospirito calls himself Drive West Today when he plays guitar and it's always an interesting listen.

The key things for me during this process was to capture the serenity of Josh's performance that never quite lets you fully switch off, it keeps you engaged and commited to finding meaning in this cyphered language of guitar speak.

I love these albums and the illustrations that go with them, Josh is also an incredibly accomplished artist or 'artist' as he would put it, damn these over-achiever types make me feel lazy.

Listening to this album tickles the same parts of my brain as listening to Lotus Eaters and other delicate ambient arrangements, it's nice, but it's challenging and it demands you to try and understand it.
