I didn't know what the hell was going to happen when we went up here for the first time but it was one of my favourite experiences ever.

We made a lap steel out of a broken piano and fed that through a Pocketpus for that terrible solo in Phoenix.

We spilt air freshener on a synth we borrowed and ruined the paint, it's all over this album but damn, we felt real bad. We're sorry Luke.

Arc De Monolith & Cathedral of Sand are some of my favourite tracks to come out of these albums, I love all the field recordings, we were so hungry to explore this place and get everything we could out of it, I think you can hear that energy and excitement in this album.

The DVD has an awesomely shot video of a song called NoizBoizToizNoiz and it's as sensible as it sounds.

Will's acoustic playing on Closer makes me want to cry every time I hear it. That's me you can hear washing up in the background, sorry about that.
