We never thought we'd do this again after the first time, the second WINTER. album is a total mixed bag of genres and altered states, it's the same sandbox approach that makes this project what it is but everything's turned up as loud as it will go.

Not sure how my mum feels about Shit's Fucked (Because I love to get high) but I think it's a great little stoner rock car driving number about getting fucked about by drug dealers, which of course I have no direct expeirence in.

When Sam started this drum looping idea that became Is It About Tetris? That was pretty incredible to watch, like a snownball of percussion that eventually takes some other instruments with it.

The light writing (like in the album art) was lots of fun, doing a live improv score to The Talented Mr. Ripley was fucking weird, the room was filled with balloons for some reason, it still makes me feel uncomfortable.

WINTER. took a big step here and I'm really proud of how the album package came out with each one hand wrapped & roller painted through our dodgy stencil.
